Short version: the Repeat After Me app collects no personal data. Your learning progress and settings stay on your device. The only data that leaves it is anonymous purchase information when you buy the optional one-time unlock — processed by Apple and our purchase provider, never linked to your identity.
The app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. Specifically, there are:
The app offers an optional one-time purchase that unlocks all content. Payment is handled entirely by Apple through your Apple ID — we never see your name, payment details, or Apple ID.
To verify purchases and restore them on your other devices, the app uses RevenueCat, a purchase-management service. RevenueCat receives an anonymous, randomly generated identifier and your purchase history for this app — nothing that identifies you personally, and nothing that is used for advertising or tracking.
The app saves your learning progress (which sentences you've marked as known or still learning) and your preferences (language pair, playback settings, reminder time) locally on your device. This information never leaves your device and is not accessible to us. Deleting the app removes it.
All sentences, dialogues, and audio are bundled inside the app and play directly on your device. The app works fully offline and makes no network requests to deliver its content.
If you enable the optional daily reminder, the notification is scheduled locally on your device by iOS. No information is sent to us, and you can turn it off at any time in the app's settings.
Our website (repeat-after-me.com) may offer an optional email sign-up to receive occasional updates about the app. Providing your email is entirely voluntary; if you do, it is used only to send those updates and is never sold or shared. This is separate from the app, which never asks for an email.
The app is suitable for all ages and collects no personal data from anyone, including children.
